Every moment that a parent shares with their infant is precious and keeping a baby happy and healthy is paramount.
With this in mind, I developed a range of electrical products to aid parents throughout the different stages of a baby’s development.
The range of a bottle warmer, 3-in-1 bottle/food warmer, bottle sterilizer and steamer blender has been designed to be simple and intuitive to use.
The visual design of each product has been developed to further enhance the Tommee Tippee brand language of being engaging, enabling and purposeful while creating a strong and coherent brand aesthetic.
What’s cooking?
I demonstrated the consumer need for the steam-blender’s basket in our kitchen using a hand made sieve; showed a reduction in water content and better consistency and less water, which leads to better acceptance when weening a toddler.
Using my Device Cost Model we were able to work with the manufacturing partners to ensure the machine recognises the presence of the basket; switching modes, without increasing the appliance’s price.
Together with a talented team; we identified new supplier partners, optimised the design, pack and guides for consumer use, reduced complexity and managed the business case to launch.
